National Vendors Union Zimbabwe (NAVUZ) Board Chairperson, Mr Sten Zvorwadza distanced himself from a message circulating on social media urging citizens to march to state house in protest against government’s misrule.
Addressing journalist in the capital Mr Zvorwadza, a human rights activist, said that citizens must not attended the event.
“I’m encouraging all Zimbabweans not to attend the march tomorrow at Africa Unity Square. They must not associate themselves with the march, Our mission is to do everything peacefully,” he said adding that marching to state house is treasonous.
Recently the NAVUZ boss has been vocal, demanding that government must fix the economy as well as outline a clear roadmap to economic recovery.
