The controversial South African socialite, Zodwa Wabantu is finally coming to Harare on Thursday for a special show at Private Lounge.
The South African entertainer who failed to perform at this year’s Harare International Carnival is eager to meet up with her fans who have been waiting to see her at the popular night joint.
Thousands of fans are expected to welcome her at the Robert Mugabe airport tomorrow afternoon.
The last time Zodwa was expected in Harare, she had been billed to perform at the Harare Carnival Samba night but the trip was cancelled following protests from a section of Zimbabweans who opposed her participation at the mega festival citing cultural and moral issues.
Writing on her Instagram Zodwa confirmed her show saying, “I am ready for Zimbabwe in Harare Zodwa Wabantu (owabntu bonke) meaning everyone. with a poster of the show”
263Chat talked to Private Lounge resident DJ Joe Metro who said everything was in order for the Zodwa show.
“Zodwa will jet in the country at around 12:05pm with South African airways on Thursday at Robert Mugabe airport.
“She has finally fulfilled our contract and a lot of people are expecting her to set the stage for the festive season,” said Joe Metro.
