Zim Entrepreneur Launches New Construction App

A Zimbabwean Entrepreneur, Terence Johane will next week launch a mobile application which will bring together all stakeholders in the construction industry for ease of doing business.

In an interview with 263Chat, Johane who is an MBA student and a former employee in the construction industry said the application called ConHub will be a one big stop shop for all construction industry as it will bring together buyers and sellers as well as offer valuable information to guide.

“The vision is to eliminate information asymmetry in the construction and real estate sector.

“This innovation will give buyers and sellers a trade and information center which will enable all to buy and sell online without much sweat,” said Johane.

He added that the application reinforces President Emmerson Mnangagwa is open for business mantra as it supports the ease of doing business.

“With growth of informal sector and increasing number of SMEs, the platform enables visibility of the small players to the market.

“The government and investors locally and abroad are able to obtain useful information with regards to local capacity and gaps in the sector.

“We want to make building and infrastructure development very easy. This will be in line with vision 2025 of making Harare a world class city and vision 2030 of making Zimbabwe a middle income economy” said Terence Johane
