Zhuwao’s Company Duped of $220k

Former President Robert Mugabe’s nephew, Robert Zhuwao has dragged William Karonga (33) before Harare Magistrates Court on allegations of fraud involving $220 500.

Zhuwao who owns Globen Investments Private Limited is currently in self imposed exile since the November 2017 operation restore legacy, was represented by his son Tashinga Adam Mukai Bandama.

“I reported the case to the police as I am representing the company now since my father is no longer in the country, he fled after the operation restore legacy,” said the complainant.

It is the state’s case that sometimes in November last year, Karonga misrepresented himself as the owner of a company called Gemonix Medical Private Limited and received $220 500 which was supposed to go towards the manufacturing of bricks.

The matter was postponed to the 6th September for trial continuation
