As the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League enters week 13 will see Bulawayo giants Highlanders square off with in-form How Mine at Barbourfields Stadium and Dynamos will travel to Kariba to lock horns with ZPC Kariba at their newly found fortress Nyamhunga Stadium.
Inconsistent Highlanders will face How Mine who have not won consecutively this season, but finally achieved that when they beat Triangle 2-1 before dismissing ZPC Kariba with similar score-line and they will be looking forward to upset Bosso.
Dating back to 2013 in the PSL, Bosso has won once and drawing the other and How Mine have won two of their encounters.
However, in all the matches both teams had different coaches by then with Highlanders were under the leadership of Kelvin Kaindu whilst How Mine were under Philani Ncube. This will be the first time the two coaches meet in the league.
Highlanders are coming at the backdrop of drawing two all against Whawha last week and Bongani Mafu who is under pressure from his fans is yet to impress then.
How Mine will be without the services of their front man Charles Sibanda and he will not be able to face his former paymasters after acuminating 3 yellow cards.
Highlanders’ next three encounters are a trial times for their coach Bongani Mafu as he is under fire Bosso supporters to get wins.
Mafu faces How Mine this weekend before taking on Dynamos in Harare and his last match of the first half of the season would be against Kelvin Kaindu’s high-riding Triangle.
ZPC Kariba will host Harare giants Dynamos at their newly found fortress Nyamhunga Stadium in the resort town of Kariba. This will be the second league match for ZPC Kariba at their new base after they were beaten 3-0 by inform FC Platinum last weekend.
ZPC Kariba’s caretakers believe they can beat the Harare giants at their fortress and redeem themselves from their three nil downfall.
“We are hoping to correct all the mistakes which made us lose our first match at home to FC Platinum,” said Oliver Matawa one of the caretakers.
On Saturday the Gweru based army side Chapungu will face log-leaders Chicken Inn at Ascot Stadium and the gamecocks will be hoping to maintain four point lead on the table.
Action continues on Sunday as Harare City will be seeking their first away victory when they make a short trip to Rusape, for a clash against debutants against Dongo Sawmills.
The Sunshine Boys would be without defender Arnold Chivhenga who picked up a red card in the last match against Chapungu.
Buffaloes will be hoping to defend their first when they host troubled new boys Whawha at Sakubva Stadium, whilst Hwange will play FC Platinum who seems to have found their scoring formula.
Triangle will be hoping to register a win when they host debutants Tsholotsho at Gibbo Stadium and CAPS United will date newly promoted side Flame Lily at the National Sports Stadium.
