“Yes We Can”: Caps United Players

The 2016 Premier Soccer League Champions, Caps united will on Wednesday face the Algerian side USM Alger at National sports stadium and 263Chat spoke to Caps United players and other coaches to get their views on this important game for the green machine.

Caps United lost to Zamalek in their first group game and will be hoping to collect maximum points to keep their chances of proceeding to the quarter finals of the lucrative competition alive.

Here is what the players and coaches said.

Devon Chafa

“I am happy that we are all fit for the game and our elder Lenard Tsipa is now training with the team which is a morale booster.

“We have played one game which we lost but it was a first game for most of us on the international stage, I believe if we win against USM Alger we will be back in the game.”

Moses Muchenje

“We are working hard to have a result on Wednesday and we are working as a team and everyone believes that we can do it.

“Playing Zamalek was a learning stage for us but now we are in form.”

Hardlife Zvirekwi

Emirates

“A good team and it’s an honor for me to be leading the team. Everyone is looking forward to us and I hope I will be back for that game.”

“Chitembwe is a good coach who knows his job nicely and he knows the way to approach these type of games because you can look at the way he played his second half against Zamalek.

“Chafa is improving every game and if he keeps working hard he is heading for better future.”

“It is going to be a tricky game and Caps United have been playing good football, they need to concentrate on their game on Wednesday.
