Winky D’s Double Weekend Date

The king of Zimdancehall, Winky D has gatecrashed on the list of the most wanted musicians in Zimbabwe as he is set to feature on two major shows starting with Harare International Festival of Arts (HIFA) on Friday night before joining Sungura maestro, Alick Macheso at the Castle Tankard at the Borrowdale Race Course on Saturday.

The Gafa President as Winky D is known by his legion of fans who launched his 11th album titled “Gombwe” early this year, will be hoping to ride on his sterling performance at Thomas Mapfumo’s Bira last weekend.

This Friday night, Winky D will take his Vigilance Band Harare International Festival of Arts (HIFA) Main ZOL stage in one of the trendsetting festival’s big acts.

The Gafa President will proceed to Castle Tankard on Saturday where he has been roped as the main act together with Sungura giant, Alick Macheso.
