Another exciting weekend indeed. Leading drummer and former Orchestra Mberikwazvo band member Obert Gomba was a surprise guest performer at the Chitungwiza based choral outfit, Africa Praise who performed at a women conference at the Victory Power International Ministries.

There was a Miambo Festival at Christon Bank which ended on Sunday. The festival was marked by star performances from top musicians in the country including Sulumani Chimbetu, Hope Masike, Gemma Griffiths, Mackay Brothers, Rob Burrell, Ammara Brown, Tehn Diamond, Josh Meck, Djembe Monks, Transit Crew and Cello Culture.

On Sunday Coca-cola and Unplugged partnership saw Prince Musarurwa and Pah Chihera of the Runonzi rudo fame perform in the first show, with more acts expected to come in future.

Man of the moment, Jah Prayzah was in Swaziland for the Bush fire festival where he made his own name around the world of music. According to Swazi Times Jah Prayzah left the stage with fans asking for more.

Emirates

Gospel musician and talented pianist Munyaradzi Munodawafa launched his second album at Theatre in the Park on Saturday. The album is titled Mwari Vachitiitira Zvakanaka (Step YeNyasha).

Local radio Star FM was at visited The Eland bar in Kuwadzana with DJ Ashy Styles and Nivek hosted by Owen Madondo popular known as Ollah 7.

The biggest sound in Zimbabwe Judgment yard hosted the welcome party of their president Irandu at the Volt on Sunday with many other sounds gracing the event.

The Sungura boss Aleck Macheso had one of his performance of this year at the Surrey Braai Festival held at Harare-Mutare Highway in Marondera with Zimdancehall man of the moment Jah Love performing his hit song Pamamonya Ipapo.
