The weekend kick-started with the undisputed king of sungura, Alick Macheso and man of the moment in the Zimdancehall Soul Jah Love invading Masvingo on Saturday.
Sungura and Zimdancehall lovers were treated to some fantastic performance and the song of the moment Pamamonya ipapo proved a major hit with fans who could not have enough of it throughout the night.

The young Aggabu performed a lot of covers songs proving that he is indeed heading for a bright future as he showed his versatility with any music genre. The headmaster is still a force to reckon, his hit songs such as Panenyaya entertained the crowd leaving a lasting impression of the man who has been in the industry for quite a long time.

The young Dendera singer is proving to be better every time he performs but he needs a manager who understands the music industry if he is to reach his potential. Sekuru Dhimba as he calls himself has mastered perfect art of playing songs by the late Simon and Naison Chimbetu and undisputedly he is the most talented of the surviving sons of the legendary Marxist brothers but it appears he has not learnt anything from the years he has been down.
HKD boss Freeman was in Mutare, promoting his upcoming album coming soon.The Joina City hitmaker who started performing with a live band last year is fast gaining experience with instruments and his stage work has also changed to reflect his growth in the music industry. His 2016 album is still doing well and fans love what he does on stage.
This coming weekend, the much awaited Sendekera concert featuring Jah Prayzah and Mafikizolo will be at the Harare International Conference Centre and a lot is expected especially with the fair success of the song sendekera released a few weeks ago. Though the song cannot match Watora Mari, it has enjoyed phenomenal success and the concert is expected to attract a full house in the giant 5000 seater.
