In a very rare occasion, a paratrooper from the Air Force of Zimbabwe failed to land properly at the National Sports Stadium during the ZDF commemorations. The paratrooper ended up crashing in the crowd at the terraces, one of those rare moments we do not usually get to witness from the Air Force of Zimbabwe’s highly skilled para drillers.
In 2016, another paratrooper failed to land properly but however made safety amendments to land in the National Sports Stadium’s B arena in a successful bid to avoid crowd injuries.
