Warriors, Bafana Super Fans Now In Ethiopia, Denied Entry

Warriors super fan Alvin Harry Junior Zhakata (Aluva) together with his South African counterpart who is South Africa’s national soccer team, Bafana Bafana and Bloemfontein Celtics number one fan Botha Msila are now at the Ethiopian enroute Egypt for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals which are set to burst into life this weekend.

Warriors super fan Alvin harry Junior Zhakata and his counterpart, Bafana Bafana and Bloemfontein Celtics number one fan Botha Msila at the Ethiopian border this morning.

Aluva communicated with 263Chat this morning. However, on a sad note, the two are being denied entry into Ethiopia, a move Aluva said was a major setback to their initial programme and plans.

“We are now at the Ethiopian border but the immigration team here is denying us entry. This is going to derail our programme and plans, especially taking into consideration time left before the games start. It’s Thursday today, we should be moving not wasting time on border posts,” fumed Aluva.

However, they hoped for the best.

The Warriors will take on the hosts, Egypt in the opening match on Saturday.

263Chat will keep tracking Aluva and Msila until they get to Egypt.
