Addressing journalists at a media workshop in Harare last week, Director of Legal and Corporate Services, Florence Jambwa said ZIMRA had spent US$2.6 million on the cargo tracking machine in a bid to eradicate fraud and corruption in the country.

Acting ZIMRA Commissioner General, Happias Kuzvinzwa who spoke on the same event condemned corruption especially within authorities urging people to report and help in eradicating the vice in the country.

“We are trying by all means to end corruption which has destroyed our economy in the country. I therefore I urge people to help and report corruption whenever they see it happening.

“Especially you the journalists, you are the voice of the voiceless and your job is to help people see the problem when they maybe not see it, therefore please do report in a way that together we can bring corruption to an end,” he said.
