It is that time of the month again, and if you have not picked out your best outfit and cleared your Sunday schedule, I do not know the world you are living in. The ultimate turn up Unplugged is back, bigger and better this month.
This year’s Unplugged will be held on the 30th of July 2017 at Wingate Park, Golf Course, Alpes Road starting from 2pm in the afternoon ending at 10pm.
Artists to look forward to- The Monkey Nuts, Diana Samkange, Ba Shupi, Shashi, Reverb7& TK Beats.
A few facts about unplugged
- First unplugged was held in December 2014 and was attended by 150 people
- It’s a roving event with no fixed abode
- The two childhood friends who started unplugged have known each other 30 years now (Elinah Chipumha & Chiedza Dana)
- Over 150 artists have performed at unplugged
- Unplugged will be hosted in Bulawayo for the first time on 3rd September 2017
- Event started off as a loss making business for two years when it finally reached break-even.
