The United Kingdom embassy in Zimbabwe has condemned the violent attacks on Foreign Affairs minister Sibusiso Moyo and his delegation at Chatman House by diasporans last week saying though they respect the right to peaceful protest, violence is not acceptable.
Posting on Twitter, UK Embassy in Zimbabwe said they have been in touch with relevant authorities in UK and Zimbabwe over the incident.
“Whilst we support the right to peaceful protest, violence is never acceptable. We have been in touch with the relevant authorities in UK and Zimbabwe about the incident involving Foreign Minister Sibusiso Moyo,” said UK in Zimbabwe.
