Triangle Football Club head coach, Taurai Mangwiro, says the Chiredzi based side is ready for the upcoming Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season, which begins in March.

Mangwiro ,who will be assisted by national under 15 coach, Tinashe Kashiri, said the Sugar Sugar Boys , who have signed former Caps United attacking midfielder Phineas Bhamusi, Tsholotsho FC goalkeeper Chang Marion, Hwange FC, Delic Murimba are bullish and ready to challenge for title honors as he believes they have assembled a strong squad.

“We have managed  to assemble a team that can make us archive better results this season which is our main target.There are new faces that we have introduced and they are combing well with the rest of the squad.

“This team is ready to compete in the league, and we have roped in the national under 15 coach Tinashe Kashiri to be our assistant coach and we believe he is going to make a difference in our technical team” said Mangwiro

The club started its 2018  season preparations last week , with the diminutive Bhamusi bringing exciting times for the team that finished ninth last season.

Triangle made history in 2012 when they became the first team, in 42 years, from the Lowveild to gain promotion into the top flight league and been not relegated since.
