Zimbabwe People First Party (ZimFirst) says it has the potential to attract the much needed foreign direct investment and unlock development as the country continues to stutter in murky economic waters. In a strongly worded email sent to Mangoma seen by 263Chat, Shumba threatened to take legal action if CODE continues to use ZimFirst on its campaign posters.
He called on the deposed Mugabe to be brave and join the opposition movement, a move which Shumba said will help the country know how elections have been alleged to be rigged.
Shumba, who pulled out of Coalition of Democrats a few days ago alleging that the leader of the coalition, Elton Mangoma was overriding his authority by meddling in ZimFirst party politics, has been suspended for six months pending termination from the party.
In a strong worded press release by Shumba, he accused Mangoma of involving himself in the internal party politics by propping Dereck Lupemba, who has been representing Shumba in CODE during his absence.
