Masvingo High Court judge, Justice Neville Wamambo has trashed the state’s request to bar Movement for Democratic Change Vice Chairperson, Job Sikhala from addressing gatherings as part of his bail conditions.
Sikhala who was facing charges of subverting a constitutional government over the remarks he made at a rally in Bikita over a week ago was granted RTGS$5000 bail today.
Justice Wamambo also dismissed state’s request for Sikhala to pay RTGS$ 50 000 bail fee.
Sikhala was ordered to hand in his passport to the Bikita clerk of court as part of the bail conditions.
