Standard Bank Scoops 16 Awards Across Africa

Stanbic Bank’s parent company, Standard Bank Group scooped 13 awards from Global Finance at this year’s annual  Swift International Banking Operations Seminar (SIBOS) conference hosted in Sydney.

The awards includes Best Overall Bank for Cash Management in Africa Best Trade Finance Provider in Africa Best Trade Finance Provider in Botswana, Kenya and South Africa Best Bank for Liquidity Management in Africa Best Treasury and Cash Management Provider in Angola, Botswana and South Africa Best Sub-Custodian Bank in Africa  Best Sub-Custodian Bank in Mozambique, Nigeria and Namibia.

The bank was also named the Best Cash Management Services in Africa, Best Trade Finance Services in Africa, and Best Treasury services in Africa in the Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) Finance Treasury awards for 2018.

The Group’s Head of Transactional Products and Services Hasan Khan said they will continue to play a leading role in facilitating trade and capital flows between Africa and prominent international trade corridors.
