Mbare born Zimdancehall star, Seh Calaz is set to release his first DVD album on Wednesday at Club 1+1.
Calaz who is known for his violent lyrics and being controversial has not had a hit song for the past 7 months is expecting to use the event to introduce his band, ‘The Convicts band.’
Speaking during an interview on ZIFM on Thursday, Calaz rubbished that he is a spend force.
“The reason why some times we are not active is you radio DJS you mock us when we do something and you don’t support us.
“I agree that things are not moving well but thats what art is like, there is one King in jungle, Soul Jah Love my big brother is man of the moment and he is on top of the game now,” said Calaz.
He announced that his much awaited DVD album will be launched on the 24th of May at Club 1+1.
“This DVD is comprised of 15 videos that I choose from my work since 2014 like Maduducha, Handimisike among others,” added Calaz.
He appealed against piracy saying it is making artists fail to make it.
“You know while I am busy working on this album, putting a lot of money, others are already buying blank CDs waiting for me to launch it so that they can duplicate and make money,” said Calaz.
Artists who are expected to perform at the event include Freeman , Killer T, Andy Muridzo and Sulumani Chimbetu.
