The army side, Black Rhinos will this weekend face Sunshine boys, Harare City in the Chibuku Super Cup quarter finals in what promises to be a thrilling encounter as both sides are looking for nothing but victory to cement their places in the next round of the prestigious tournament.
Going into this match, both teams are coming from loses in their league fixtures and will be hoping to put behind their troubles and battle for a place in semi finals en-route to finals and potential championship.
Harare City won the competition two years ago and were losing finalists last year while Rhinos have not made a meaningful participation and will be hoping to make a mark by going as far as they can.
Following their elimination of Bulawayo giants, Highlanders, Harare City goes into this match with an upper-hand and will try by all means to justify their worthy by burying the army side and seal their place in the next round of the competition.
In an interview with 263Chat after the competition draw at Mandel Training Centre in Harare on Monday, Harare City official Hope Chizuzu said his team is confident of bagging the trophy.
“This is our game because we have been performing well in our previous games.
“We would like to revenge for our league loss in the league and progress to the semi-finals because we normally do good in this competition especially playing away from home,” said Chizuzu.
The army side, Black Rhinos declared war on the Sunshine boys.
