Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) on Wednesday applauded action by the military saying it was necessary to rid Zanu PF of bad elements who were suffocating the economy and recklessly firing party members without basis.
Secretary General of ZNLWVA, Victor Matemadanda said Zanu PF must recall President Robert Mugabe from his position as the party President and First Secretary. He added that the ruling party had lost direction as it was now under the control of the Youth wing instead of the main wing as per the constitution.
He called for a transitional authority composed of all political parties to ease the economic pressure which he said did not require one individual or political entity.
