Caps United midfielder, Devon Chafa who is set to feature for the national team on Sunday is relishing the prospects of once again donning national team colors when the warriors clash against the Lone Stars of Liberia at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Chafa who last featured for the national team in 2013 was banned for six months by the football mother body FIFA after his urine samples tested positive to banned substances.
The former Dynamos and How Mine sensation, will on Sunday partner Danny ‘Deco’ Phiri in the midfield for the warriors important match against Liberia.
In an interview with 263Chat, Chafa expressed excitement to be part of the warriors team to play against Liberia.
“I am happy to be part of this team because it shows that the coaches are seeing the way I play at my club.
“Everything is in order and we are ready for game, come Sunday.
“Everyone is reacting nice to the coaches training and we are ready for the game on Sunday, hopefully we will collect all the 3 points
“I would like to invite supporters to come in numbers and support us because they contribute much to how we play,” said the former Dynamos player, Chafa.
