Leading medical aid company, Premier Services Medical Aid Society (PSMAS) has completed the construction of its state of art one-stop-shop client service centre aimed at improving convenience and service delivery to its wide clientele across the country.

Addressing journalists during a media tour of the company premises on Wednesday, Managing Director Tendai Kapumha said the establishment of a client service centre was meant to offer all services at one place with less or no difficulties.
“The focus of the society is basically the member, we focus on the member and the member defines what must happen and around the member all our efforts and services are cast,” said Kapumha.
He added that due to the turnaround, stakeholders will enjoy convenient services in payments, membership cards processing among other services.
Added to the establishment of the one stop shop, the organisation has introduced a wellness apartment at its premises where its stakeholders get wellness screening services.
Wellness services offered include free education on lifestyle modification, nutrition, physical exercise, stress management and more.
“So after all that, we analyse the results and help someone to monitor their health, we just want to empower people so that they have power over their health, they can then decide what they want to eat, how they are going to exercise, how they are going keep fit and how they are going to monitor their health so that they can be able to prevent non-communicable diseases” said Confidence Ushemakota, PSMAS Wellness Officer.
Ushemakota added that the wellness department also offer medical consultations on blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol.
There is also body analysis services that incorporate free advice on body fat, basal metabolic rate, daily caloric intake, body water, metabolic age, muscle mass and bone mass.
In its journey to a new beginning, PSMAS has further created a value in its stakeholders through the establishment of a self-catering refreshments within its premises.
The construction of the client service centre came on the back of the appointment of new management team comprising of the new Managing Director-Tendai Kapumha, Head of Finance-Marshall Mashave and Head of Human Resources- Regina Tendai in 2016.
