The Premier Soccer League has summoned FC Platinum head coach, Norman Mapeza and Dynamos Assistant Coach, Murape Murape to appear before its Disciplinary Committee for allegedly committing acts of misconduct.
Mapeza is being accused of threatening match officials after the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match against Harare City Football Club on October 2016 in a match played at Rufaro stadium.
He is said to have contravened Order 31 of the PSL Rules and Regulations which makes it an offense on the part of a player or club official who :
31.2.9 Threatens, Assaults, intimidate, coerce, interferes, misleads or insults a match official, player or official of the league, club, press or media, or any other person, before, during and after the match.
He has been summoned to appear before the Disciplinary Committee on 1 November 2016 at the PSL offices.
Meanwhile, Dynamos’ assistant coach Murape has been summoned before the same court on allegations of assaulting and threatening opponents and match officials.
He is alleged to have assaulted and insulted Caps United Football Club Officials on 16 October 2016 before the match between Dynamos and Caps United at the National Sports stadium.
Murape is also charged with breaching Order 31.29 of the PSL Rules and Regulations and will appear before the DC , on November 8 2016 at the PSL offices.
