Harare based choral group, Peace Gospel Choir is set to record their second live DVD album on the 7th of October in Harare.
The 40 member group which has been a quiet for a while is back with a bang after recruiting new members who performed well during auditions and the founder Itai Sandras of the Tinosimudza Maoko hit song is convinced that his project will transform lives.
His dream behind putting together a choral group was to give aspiring singers a platform to showcase their talent and spread the word of God across the world.
Talking to 263Chat, Sadras said preparations for the DVD recording were at an advanced stage adding that the project will be the best that country will have this year.
“We took our time to work on this project, auditions helped us to come up with the best group and I am confident that this is going to be the best project for us because of the investment we have put in it” said Sandras.
“We have Kuda kutsvene who is going to perform at the launch alongside Trymore Bande, Kudzi Mutsvene, Munyaradzi Munodawafa and many others,” added Sandras.
He further noted that the main purpose of the group is to praise God for the talent while helping those whose spirits are uplifted through music.
