Gospel musician Olinda Marowa has lost her husband Michael Ziwenga.

Ziwenga who was the founder of Grace Life Covenant died in the capital on Tuesday after succumbing to a stomach infection.
Family relative Lyton Ngolomi confirmed the death saying they suspect that the infection was caused by the food that he bought at a supermarket on Sunday.
“Of course he had some acids for quite some time but he was healthy, it all started when he consumed some food that he bought from a local supermarket on Sunday because that’s when he started complaining that he wasn’t feeling well.
“Unfortunately the situation deteriorated and we lost him,” said Ngolomi.
Writing on her Facebook page, Olinda Marowa said “Mudiwa wangu zorora Murugare,will always cherish the sweet moments we had together. Wandibaya panyama nhete!10 years of knowing you was the greatest thing l could ever had,will always love you my hero,husband,friend,mentor,personal pastor Rest in peace Michael Mufaro Ziwenga,”said Olinda.
Ziwenga was a former Pastor in the Spirit Embassy church before he left to start his own Grace Covenant Church based in Gweru. By the time of his death, Ziwenga was living in Harare where he recently opened another branch.
Burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
