South African based Zimbabwean musician, Rowan Madzamba will be making his debut entrance on the gospel music scene with three singles set for release in early February.
In a country long dominated by Zimdancehall for nearly a decade now, Madzamba believes his mission is to champion the revival of gospel music- a task he believes he is equal to.
“With guide I got from Minister Tinashe Maphosa also based here in Durban I believe my songs are great masterpieces and they will reach out to many consequently winning hearts to God” said Madzamba.
Madzamba moved to South Africa in 2012 to enroll for a Social Science Degree and now a full time Doctor of Philosophy (PHD) student at University of Kwazulu Natal.
As someone who had always been ministering through preaching, Madzamba says his inspiration to use music as a fishing tool for Christ came from Mathias Mhere and Blessing Shumba.
“Mathias Mhere and Blessing Shumba were my inspirations but I however adore the former for his consistence since he entered the music scene” he said.
“My music will give hope, motivate and assure people that God can do anything all we have to do is wait upon him,” added the artist.
The three singles will be titled ‘Fambai Neni Mwari’ ‘Garwa naJesu’ and ‘Jesus the Game Changer’
