NetOne Injects RTGS$170K To Black Rhinos Sponsorship Package

State-owned mobile network operator, NetOne today injected a RTGS$170 000 sponsorship to Zimbabwe National Army side Black Rhinos Football Club ahead of the new soccer season.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony held at Josiah Magama Tongogara Barracks today, NetOne Chief Executive Officer, Lazarus Muchenje said the support looks to motivate players and in turn develop a more competitive local premier league.

“For our local premiership to be highly competitive corporates should come on board with sponsorship packages. These motivate players hence, NetOne’s gesture,” he said.

Muchenje also highlighted that as a way of encouraging the team and individual brilliance RTGS$50 000 from the total amount will go towards incentivising goal scorers, winning bonuses among other positive showcases.

“To ensure that the team is driven to perform better than last season, we have added on some sweeteners to the package. These are meant to incentivise individual players and the technical team if they achieve certain targets. RTGS$ 50 000 from the total amount will go towards this.
