State owned mobile network operator, NetOne yesterday announced winners of its OneMoney Fees for Less Promotion with the operator saying their mobile payment platform has been well embraced by the market.
Speaking during the announcement of winners yesterday, NetOne’s Acting Managing Director for Mobile Financial Services, Nyaradzai Shoko said the promotion was well embraced by parents and schools, which prompted them to bring back the promotion, albeit bigger and better.
The second edition of Fees for Less Promotion for term 3 was launched on the 12th August 2018 and now offers more value as it is open to all levels within the education system, i.e. primary, secondary and tertiary institutions.
As part of the promotion, the first 100 parents who paid their fees using OneMoney and will get back their money.
The OneMoney promotion will also offer rural schools a double opportunity as the first 30 rural schools to register will receive $400 into their biller accounts and $200 for school development.
The promotion which was launched on the 22nd of April is running up to the 30th of September 2018. A total of 50 parents still stand a chance of winning $100 fortnightly when they pay fees from as little as $20 through OneMoney.
OneMoney is a NetOne division which specifically focuses on the provision of mobile fintech solutions and recently launched the OneMoney Fees for Less Promotion aimed at drawing school fees payers to take advantage of the slashed tariffs.
