Castle Lager Premier Soccer League leaders, Ngezi Platinum Stars will this weekend visit Maglas stadium in Zvishavane for a tricky encounter against Shabanie Mine Football Club in an exciting matchday six fixture.
The last time Ngezi visited Maglas, they came back empty handed with Shabanie collecting maximum points.
Ngezi coach, Tonderai Ndiraya is alive to the threat that Shabanie poses to his high flying side though he is impressed with the work he has done ahead of the Maglas clash.
In an Interview with 263Chat, Ndiraya expressed his team’s readiness for the weekend game saying his players focused on the game which could see them bag 18 out of 18 points in what is proving to their coronation season.
“We had a very good week of preparation, we have had a very good start to the season, winning all our matches, our focus is now on our upcoming game with Shabanie away at Maglas, a very difficult venue and problematic team to play against.
“We have experienced it last year where we played them and lost but we were not satisfied about how we lost the match.
“We know the conditions we are going to face which is different from any other team where the whole stadium will be behind them and as a club we are happy to face Shabanie at their home ground
“I hope the boys will react positively to the game as we have been training all week to get a result from there,” said Ndiraya
Shabanie is currently sitting on the ninth position after collecting six points from their first five games while Ngezi is sitting on the summit with 15 points from five matches.
