Ndiraya Dreams Of Turning DeMbare Into A ‘Mean Machine’

Former Ngezi Platinum Stars coach Tonderai ‘Stanza’  Ndiraya, who is now at the helm at Harare fading giants,  DeMbare after the Glamour Boys parted way with Lloyd ‘Mablanyo’ Chigowe a few weeks ago, has hinted on building a ‘Mean Machine’ that will compete with the best locally and regionally.

Dynamos have been under construction for the past few seasons since the departure of Kalisto Pasuwa, who won four titles in a roll. Ndiraya worked as an assistant coach during Pasuwa’s reign and Tonde believes that can be done again.

After playing a to a goalless draw against his former paymasters, Ngezi Platinum FC, Ndiraya commended the attitude by his boys and hopes to build from there going forward until he comes up with a team that will compete with any team and be able to cause an upset.

“I am happy with the team’s spirit and going forward we can work on other things, all the other aspects of the game hopefully we will get there.

“We have started a difficult journey. We have a  difficult game coming up next as we face defending Champions FC Platinum. It will not be an easy game for us but if we going into those games with the mentality we showed today, the spirit we had today, who knows we can come back with the result we want.

“I am happy with the drew and frustrations were there, plenty during the game but we must not forget were we are coming from, this is a team which is  really under reconstruction and I hope I will be able to build a good team like Ngezi and bring back smiles on DeMbare fans’ faces once again,” concluded Ndiraya
