Mupfumira Charms International Community

Tourism and Hospitality Minister, Prisca Mupfumira has appealed to the international community to invest in the country as the new dispensation has opened new business and investment opportunities.

She made the remarks while addressing a welcome reception for the 10th edition of FITUR, in Spain.

Mupfumira said the coming in of a new government led by President Emmerson Mnangagwa has opened up new avenues for potential international investor, particularity in the tourism sector.

“The peaceful demonstration that was held on 18 November 2017 totally changed the image and perception of Zimbabwe from a country perceived to be at war with itself to an exceptionally safe and peaceful country which is in love with mankind.

“Now that the dust has settled, I would like to assure you all that Zimbabwe is now open for Business and visitors, trading partners and investors alike are most welcome in this country that is full of amazing business opportunities,”  said Mupfumira.

“We therefore plead to the international community to support Zimbabwe in its transformation and to give this new dispensation a fair chance,” she pleaded.

She added that Zimbabwe is a country where people from all walks of life, different political religious and ideological persuasions as well as diverse races live in harmony.
