Mukamba Attracts Makepekepe Interest

Lanky Dynamos midfielder, Denver Mukamba, who is reportedly on his way out of the Harare giants has attracted the interest of Dembare bitter city rivals Caps United who are keen on his services for the 2018 premier league season.

Mukamba, who won the league title with Dynamos in 2011 and 2012, scored eight goals last season before his form dipped following his uncontrollable drinking habits saw him fall out of favor with his gaffer, Lloyd Mutasa.

A close source to the developments told 263Chat that Caps United were monitoring Mukamba’s moves as they plan on roping him into the Green army for the 2018 season.

“Caps United is closely monitoring Denver Mukamba’s moves as they want his service for the 2018 season, the club believes he possesses the qualities that will give them a good run in the 2018 season,” said the source.

Makepekepe is on a rebuilding process following the departure of many experienced players who left for greener pastures outside the country.

“Makepekepe want Mukamba as they are rebuilding a team that will make them Champions this season and the Caps united coach wants to assemble a team with players who have experience in premiership football,” added the source.

In an interview with 263Chat, Mukamba’s agent, Gibson Mahachi could not be drawn into commenting on Mukamba’s next destination saying the former Bidvest Wits player is still a Dynamos player.

“I am not aware of that but my official comment is that Denver is still a Dynamos player because he still has a running contract with the club,” said Mahachi.

“Come month end Denver is going to get his salary from Dembare because they are his employers,” added Mahachi.

Efforts to get a comment from Caps United Chief Executive Officer, Cuthbert Chitima was fruitless as his number was not reachable.
