President Emmerson Mnangagwa has joined Zimbabweans in mourning the death of Vimbai Tsvangirai Java, daughter to the late Movement for Democratic Change founding President Morgan Tsvangirai who passed on yesterday after she was involved in a fatal accident last month.
In a Twitter message last night, Mnangagwa expressed sadness to learn of the tragic passing of Vimbai who was the Member of Parliament for Glen View South and Secretary General of MDC Women’s Assembly.
“Very sad to learn of the tragic passing of Hon Vimbai Tsvangirai – Java. May her memory be a blessing and a comfort to all that knew her, and may she rest in eternal peace,” said Mnangagwa.

Vimbai was involved in a road accident along Harare-Bulawayo highway early in May. The same accident claimed Vimbai’s campaign Manager, Paul Rukanda and relative Tafadzwa Mhundwa.
