Rising Afrofusion star Ashton ‘Mbeu’ Nyahora will on Saturday 24 November serenade lovers at a couples bush braai party to be held at Pakanaka Resort in Goromonzi.

The young crooner, groomed at the legendary Oliver Mtukudzi’s Pakare Paye Arts Center is part of an exciting program tailor-made for couples to celebrate life and love.

Strongbonds International, a network of couples with a shared vision of preparing and strengthening marriages are the event organizers.

“Our main thrust as an institution and vibrant movement is to demystify that marriage is boring,” said Pastor Simba Woloza, the visionary and Coordinator of Strongbonds.

“In preserving the sanctity of marriages we invite all couples outside denominational inclinations and to even nonbelievers for us to learn from each other in a fun environment,” he said.

Woloza said that a lot of activities have been lined up including canoeing, comedy, practical lessons, games and braai.

“We always thrive to make our events different and memorable for couples. Our assurance is that this is going to be a massive party as it comes at a time we are shutting down the year,” Woloza said.

The marriage coach and officiant added that every effort has been made to make the event affordable for couples.

“The event will only be $20 per couple (all modes of payment accepted), covering entrance fees and a full day of fun and loving. There will be many braai stands and couples are free to bring their braai packs and refreshments of their choice.”

Mbeu’s manager, Eugene Museredza said that the Mhodzi Tribe band is raring to go.

“The band is super excited about performing at this event and will deliver a masterclass show,” he said.

“We are happy with how our music continues to germinate with each day and we can’t wait to do what we know best at the Couples bush party.”

“We are brewing a new album, titled Hatikendenge and will surely sample one or two of our new songs at the event,” Museredza said.
