Mbeu Out To Prove His Worth With Debut Album

A few year ago, music superstar, Oliver Mtukudzi built Pakare Paye Arts Centre to promote upcoming musicians, with the centre boasting of having mentored the late Sam Mtukudzi whose stardom continued to rise before his untimely death in a road accident a few years ago.

Pakare Paye has not looked back with Munyaradzi Matarutse and Mbeu being some of the latest offspring from Mtukudzi’s most sought after centre.

Mbeu who leads the Modzi Tribe, an Afro Jazz musician who was a lead singer in the group Tsvete seems unfazed by his upcoming musician tag as he has already started having shows whilst promoting his upcoming debut album which is set to hit the market soon.

The album which carries songs such as Chimbada, Mavanga and manys was produced by Munya Viali.

In an interview with 263Chat, Mbeu thanked Mtukudzi for helping him come up with album that he believes will make the superstar proud after its release.

“I need to thank Dr Mtukudzi for the help he gave me on the album and I will make him happy one day, I know that” said Mbeu.

With so many people asking about Mbeu, the Afro Jazz crooner is sure that his debut offering will answer all those questions as it is a masterpiece that will mark his grand entrance onto the big stage.
