Top South African music producer, Master KG and Sandra Ndebele are set to headline the highly anticipated Tourism Night Concert to close off the Sanganai Tourism Expo in Bulawayo tomorrow.
The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA), the organisers of the expo, have arranged a diverse and talented lineup of local artists for the “Tourism Night Concert” at the Main Arena.
The concert will feature some of the best homegrown acts, such as Godolude, Mawiza, EX Q,siz Kay, Noluntu J, La Dee, Mzistozz Mfanafuthi, Mzoe 7, and a group of DJs, including DJ Euge, DJ Nospa, DJ Sida, DJ Khumz, and DJ Mox.
The “Tourism Night Concert” will also coincide with the annual Soul Cookout event, which will offer a delicious variety of dishes for the attendees. The Soul Cookout will showcase some of the finest soul, jazz and R&B musicians in the country, such as Jeys Marabini, Kinah The Music, Thandy Dlana, Possenti Sikosana, Flawless and Morris Touch.
Possenti Sikosana, the curator of the Soul Cookout, said that they are ready to deliver a memorable experience. “We are happy to be part of the Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo festivities, as we believe in family-friendly entertainment. We have something for everyone, including jumping castles for the kids. We are honoured to have Jeys Marabini, Thandy Dlana and Kinah The Music on our stage, as they represent different generations of music lovers. They have also promised to perform some new material,” he said.
The Sanganai/Hlanganani Expo is known for its high-quality entertainment, and last year’s edition featured big names like Big Zulu, the late Costa Tich and Lwa Ndlunkulu. This year’s “Tourism Night Concert” is set to continue this legacy and provide a fitting finale to an amazing event.
