Mapeza Hail Mutasa, Chirangwi

The coach of the season for the 2017 Premier Soccer League, Norman Mapeza has hailed Dynamos gaffer, Lloyd Mutasa for steering a team of nonentities to challenge for championship saying such a feat prove that he is a very good coach.

Mapeza who led the Zvishavane based FC Platinum to their maiden PSL crown who was speaking at the PSL awards applauded Mutasa for a good job adding that he was unlucky to miss on the top gong.

“Lloyd did well this season, that’s what I personally think because at the beginning of the season, no one knew where his team would be. Tonderai Ndiraya had a good season also with a team which is in the league for the second year, that’s a job well done” said Mapeza.

The decorated former Warriors player was also full of praise for Shabanie Mine coach, Takesure Chirangwi whom he said had proved his worthy after pulling his team out of the relegation zone.

“Takesure Chirangwi did well because for him to save Shabanie Mine from relegation, with resources they have I think he did very well, its unfortunate that we don’t know how the voting system is done, but may if it was in United Kingdom, he was going to be coach of the season,” said Mapeza.
