Unfazed by the recent wave of xenophobic attacks that has left scores of foreigners dead, South Africa based gospel musician Lee Chitsungo has partnered with Rowan Madzamba in a recently released single titled Simbi Inorodza Simbi.
Giving light on the song’s inspiration, Madzamba said Simbi Inorodza Simbi is hinged from a scriptures passage of Proverbs 27 verse 17.
“Simbi Inorodza Simbi loosely translated as iron sharpens iron was inspired by a scriptures passage of Proverbs 27 verse 17. It is a message to believers to say open rebuke is better than secret love,” he said.
The song was written by Pretoria based Lee Chitsungo who is also into music management.
