Kenyan women who hogged limelight for demonstrating against the lack of men to impregnate them because of drunkenness, have moved a gear up and have since threatened the so-called ‘useless’ husbands that they are moving on to get ‘better’ bed mates.
A section of women in Kenya demonstrated over the lack of men to make them pregnant because they are always drunk.
According to Health Extreme, Women from Ndeiya ward complained over their husbands who are unable to sire children leaving them with no option but to look for better and sober bed mates from elsewhere.
The women from Ndeiya ward said their men are always away from their home drinking alcohol all day instead of minding the home-front to allow babies to come.
Speaking during a peaceful protest at Thigio Shopping Centre, the demonstrators said younger women are the worst affected as they have been turned to look “unproductive”.
“If you walk into this village you will find so many young married women, but only a few are pregnant. Those who are not are suffering in silence because their men cannot perform,” resident Nancy Wangare said.
She said men have been drinking anything alcoholic to keep them high, but society bears the consequences of sexual dysfunction.
“It would not be a wonder if we start looking for men to sire our children. Our husbands will not know anything. We will trick them that the pregnancies are theirs and they will support us,” Wangare said.
The 32-year-old mother of one separated from her husband four years ago.
