The president of Haiti, Jovenel Moise, has been shot and killed at his home, the interim Prime Minister Claude Joseph announced Wednesday morning.
The president’s residence has also put out a statement saying the attack occurred around 1 a.m. and that the first lady was wounded in the attack.
A reporter for Le Nouvelliste and presenter on Radio Magik 9, Robenson Geffrard said the assassination was carried out by a commando group with “foreign elements,”
