www.263chat.com

February is the month of love and 263Chat will be celebrating it with you by giving you ideas on what you could do for your loved ones.

Today we look at if the color red and roses are appropriate for the day.

Valentine’s Day is day that is not easy to ignore, everything everywhere will be red and white, those that claim to have forgotten it really need to find better excuses. But why the color red?

Red brings intensity to almost everything, from red lipstick, red dress to red cars, there is something daring about it.

Red is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love.It attracts attention more than any other color, at times signifying danger.

The color is linked to sexuality and desire. People wearing red are consistently rated as more attractive by others.

What is Valentine’s without roses, its probably the only day in year that a woman receives flowers, so it important to pay attention to the types and colors specific for that day.

You meant to say, “thank you,” but instead you said, “I’m falling for you!” When you send Valentine’s Day flowers, you’re honoring tried and tested tradition. However, sending roses of certain colors may say more than you think.

“Sending roses on Valentine’s Day is a classic idea and will always win you points, but make sure that the color of the roses matches your true feelings”, says ProFlowers design expert, Eriko Ono.

Red roses are the traditional way to say “I love you,” and are, therefore, the most popular flower sent on Valentine’s Day. However, think beyond red this year. Valentine’s Day is when we celebrate love, of course, but in the people we love, there is often much more to celebrate. Luckily, for most every feeling and sentiment, there is a color of rose.

Red:I love you

Nothing says “I love you” like red roses. Red symbolizes love, beauty, courage, respect, romantic love, and even congratulations.
