Independent Parly Candidate Promises Warren Park Industrial Hub

As the 2018 harmonized elections draw closer, aspiring independent parliamentary candidate for Warren Park constituency, Engineer Jacob Mutisi has already availed his plan to construct an industrial hub which he hopes will address employment problems for out of school youths in his area.

In an interview with 263Chat, Mutisi said his plan of action is to empower out of school youths with employment opportunities through the setting up of an industrial hub and vegetable markets among other key projects.

“Warren Park constituency doesn’t have an industrial hub, so how will our youngsters get employment from?

“Within the constituency we have many high schools churning out students every year but the problem is the absence of employment provisions for them within the constituency.

“Warren Park needs its own industrial hub and I have already identified a piece of land earmarked for that,” said Mutisi.

He added that once elected, he will establish a vegetable market to enable residents to easily access markets.

“l don’t see any reason why we don’t have an equivalent of a vegetable market within Warren Park Constituency where those who buy and sell can do so conveniently unlike the current scenario where they have to go to Mbare.

“If you look at areas such as Belvedere, there are no sport centers and we need to make sure there are such provisions. We have already identified the space behind St Joseph,” added Mutisi.
