I will Go to Chitepo School As a Lecturer: Tsenengamu

Suspended Zanu PF national youth Commissar, Godfrey Tsenengamu has sarcastically savaged recommendations made by the party’s supreme organ the Politburo that they should undergo rigorous training at the Chitepo School of Ideology for three months.

Posting on Facebook, Tsenengamu mockingly said he will go to the school of ideology only as a lecturer because he had identified his students.

“Only as a lecturer will I go to Chitepo Ideological College for I identified my students yesterday (Wednesday). Chitepo was neither a thief nor a looter,” Tsenengamu said

Tsenengamu was suspended together with Deputy Youth Secretary Lewis Matutu with President Emmerson Mnangagwa said to have whipped the two for engaging in ‘activism that threatens party unity.’

His buddy, Matutu has remained defiant saying he would rather die for something than to live for nothing.

“Self-sacrifice is the most honourable and selfless thing you can do in your life. Better to die for something than to live for nothing,” said Matutu.

Meanwhile former Zanu PF and Politburo member Professor Jonathan Moyo has questioned the logic behind suspending party members for corruption allegations against business people.

“There are no suspensions but ejections from the politburo (Togarepi and Matutu) and from national youth league executive (Togarepi, Matutu and Tsenengamu) for accusing of corruption not Mnangagwa and his VPs (Vice Presidents), but mainly Tagwirei and Rautenbach who are not Zanu PF or Government leader,” said Prof Moyo
