Former Ngezi Platinum gaffer Tonderai ‘Stanza’ Ndiraya was this afternoon handed the reigns to lead Harare fading giants Dynamos as head coach after the sacking of Lloyd Chigowe yesterday. It did not take much time for the new coach to show a bubble of confidence as he was quick to declare that he is ready to turn DeMbare into a mean machine once again.
Addressing the media during the his official unveiling in the capital today, Stanza said he was happy to be back at home and he was rearing to take DeMbare back to its old good days.
“Home has always been home, I am very pleased to be back home after a while. Home is best, I am glad to been given this enormous task as we all know that Dynamos is a big club from a big institution with big expectations.
“Thank you Mr Chairman for giving this rare opportunity for me to be back home. Being a son of this institution I will do the best i can to make sure i move the team forward.
“I will try to do the best I can to manage the crises we have at the team and hopefully from the next assignment the team will take a new path” said Ndiraya
Ndiraya coached Dynamos in 2015 and was sacked after he finished second behind Chicken Inn. He went on to join Ngezi Platinum in 2016 and won the Chibuku Super cup and was sacked last year when his team was second behind FC Platinum.
