Hwindi Prezident’s Christmas Present Brewing Up

The Chitungwiza born Zimdancehall star, Bessel Mugo Parewa better known as Hwindi Prezident’s much awaited debut album which has been in the offing for a long time is finally set to be launched on the 9th of December at the Mbare Netball complex.

Hwindi Prezident who marked his grand entry onto the Zimdancehall arena three years ago after releasing his popular track titled ‘Tambirai monarch’ which went on the become a household chorus in the ghetto is hopeful that his new project will be an Christmas gift for his fans who have been expecting it for quite some time.

In an interview with his manager, Loverage Phiri, he said Hwindi Prezident’s first album will be a Christmas present for Zimdancehall fans adding that they have been working on the project for a very long time and are proud that it has come to fruition.

“We have been working on the project for a long time now and we are still recording songs but on the 9th of December we be launching it combined with Hwindi’s Birthday,” said Phiri.

He added that their decision to launch it in the home of Zimdancehall-Mbare was driven by their desire to give back to the community that changed Hwindi’s life and many others including Soul Jah Love, Killer T, Seh Calaz.

“This is the place which changed our lives and we have thought of giving back to the community by launching the album in Mbare and there are lot of other Zimdancehall artist Like Jah love, Seh Calaz, Kinnah, Freeman, Killer T among other we will grace the night

“It is going to be our first big event that we are hosting in our name and this is something that excites us, we are confident that fans will forever remember this event as one of the best, so we are promising fireworks,” said Phiri.

Asked on the name of the album, Phiri said they had not finalized adding that they are still working on other tracks to feature on the album.
