Dancehall musician, Godknows Ghandi, better known as ‘Guccizy’, vows to turn the tables in the music scene, especially the fiercely contested Zimdancehall genre.
The Budiriro-based lyricist said he is eager to build on the success of his three new singles “Girl I miss you”, “Mhamha vakandibereka” and “Anonzi Guccizy ndini”, all recorded under the Triple Spain stable.
“My time to dominate the airwaves is now,” he said. “I am ready, ko anonzi Guccizy ndinika!”
The 23-year old thanked his parents for supporting him both moral and financial support.
“My parents supported me morally and financially. Through their support, I managed to release my debut single “Ukaenda” in 2014,” he said.
“I dedicated my latest single “Mhamha vakandibereka” to my mother, thanking her for the love, care and support she is according me.”
Inspired by Jamaican artiste Jah Cure, the artistes said that he is finalysing his debut album.
To date, Guccizy has staged shows in Bindura and Mvurwi, but is desperate for the bigger platform.
“I want to rub shoulders with seasoned musicians. That’s my aim now,” he summed up.
