An upcoming church, Grace Covenant Church will this weekend invade the city of Gweru for its first crusade in the Midlands town with the church planning to hold an all night prayer on Friday which will be preceded by an opening ceremony of the church’s Mkoba branch.

Under the leadership of Pastor Mike Ziwenga, the husband of famous gospel singer Olinda Marowa, Grace Covenant Church is an offspring of Uebert Angel’s Spirit Embassy.
Church spokesperson, Pius Ndala said they are expecting God to be at work. “Last year we hosted the freedom service to deal with challenges facing society such as young people committing suicide but after the event, by God’s grace the rate has gone down.”
Ndala added that this year they are expecting people to come in their numbers as there is going to be word by the man of God Major Pastor Mike.
“He will prophesy, deliverance of believers and the power of god is going to be moving on Friday and Sunday,” said Ndala.
popular gospel artists billed to perform at the service include Nyasha Mutonhori, Nicholas Chiringa and Ziwenga’s wife Major Olinda Marowa Ziwenga.
