South African based gospel musician, Rowan Madzamba has called on Zimbabweans to embrace and support President Emmerson Mnangagwa saying it is only through God’s will that he is in power.
Madzamba who dedicated one of his songs titled “Makorokoto,” off his new album titled Dzingori Nyasha to Mnangagwa congratulated the just inaugurated President of Zimbabwe saying he was pushed to wish him the best on his poll victory.
“I believe, just as the scriptures say that God is the one who instates and topples leaders, hence the need for all of us to support this man, God has allowed to lead Zimbabwe.
“So now as a way to say congratulations to ED, I decided to pull out one song from my album Dzingori Nyasha and dedicate it to the man wishing him all the best as he leads us to making Zimbabwe great again,” he said.
Madzamba pinned hopes on the 75 year old leader to make Zimbabwe great again saying he is optimistic great opportunities will come to Zimbabwe.
“Because God has allowed it, I believe ED will make Zimbabwe great again and as a student studying away from home, with this leadership I foresee great opportunities coming our way that will take us back home to work in and for our own country,” added Madzamba.
Meanwhile President Mnangagwa’s closest rival and Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) Alliance Leader Nelson Chamisa has remained adamant on a stunt that the 30 July election outcome was stolen from him despite Friday’s Constitutional Court ruling that declared ED the winner.
