Yesterday we obeyed kings and bent our necks before emperors and despots. But today we kneel only to truth…………… Khalil Gibran-The Prophet.
The folly of the dictator is that he imagines that by using force, arrest and intimidation, the problem will go away. Not this time. The problems created by ZANU (PF)’s 36 year rule by cohesion must now come to an end. The new generation of Zimbabweans has arrived and they want change today not tomorrow.

As we ShutDownZimbabwe today and the next day we have all begun to re write our history. Let us ignore of those amongst us who have been dis-empowered to imagine a better Zimbabwe by this regime. They do not matter at all. In every struggle they are those who protect the establishment and yet they have much to benefit from the change we seek.
Every one who dreams of a better society of us is Evan and Itai, let us never forget that.
To this regime and whose tyranny we have tolerated for so long, we must tell them that ordinary Zimbabweans have arisen and cannot be stopped. We will continue to fight for our freedom in every way we can. Our Great Zimbabwe belongs to all who live in it regardless of race or gender and not to Mugabe and his family.
Yes we shall be great again and the words of Thomas Sankara could not be more inspiring and relevant
He said “I would like to leave behind me the conviction that if we maintain a certain amount of caution and organization we deserve victory. You cannot carry out fundamental change without a certain amount of madness. In this case, it comes from nonconformity, the courage to turn your back on the old formulas, the courage to invent the future. It took the madmen of yesterday for us to be able to act with extreme clarity today. I want to be one of those madmen. We must dare to invent the future.”
Evan Mawarire and Itai Dzamara are the madmen of today because you cannot carry out fundamental change without a certain amount of madness. They have dared to challenge the status quo for us to be able to act with extreme clarity in the future.
To Evan I say: “Do not weep my dear brother Evan, Zimbabwe will write its own history and you are already part of it. It will be to the north and the south of the Sahara, a history of glory and dignity”. (Patrice Lumumba quote)
God protect you my brother and see you soon.
Freedom is coming tomorrow!
